Organization and Grouping is Critical
Organization of the class and productive grouping can make or break this process. An ineffective or destructive group can poison the educational environment for the entire class. Therefore, we have created two primary methods of grouping: United Grouping and International Grouping.
United GroupingUnited Grouping is more effective in classes which might suffer from overt competition or widespread disagreements. United Grouping splits the class by function of government for perspective. Each group represents a different function in a singular nation (e.g. Judicial, Legislative, Public Representation, Military Officials, etc.). Each group clarifies either their perspective on a particular issue or provides a solution for an individualized aspect of a larger problem.

International GroupingInternational Grouping alters the original campaign to accommodate multiple student nations. International Grouping can be used to unite two classes which are part of the United Grouping system or can be used to divide a single class into multiple student-driven nations. This approach is beneficial for classes that might benefit from a competitive environment. The International Grouping is particularly effective at attaining student buy-in. However, the downsides to this grouping method are that it requires far more preparation from the teacher, and it can cause rifts between students.
